Hate Crime!

Last night, as I was walking from the gym to a student-faculty function, some in a car drove past me and screamed at me the word "dyke". I am stunned. I mean, how stupid must you be to get a slur wrong?



Sure, I should feel some sort of indignation about someone shouting a slur at me, but mostly I just find it funny how they got things so wrong...



It's actually a somewhat nice thing to happen in the past few days. As you've no doubt seen on CNN, there was a terrible even at VA Tech on Monday. The entire campus is a little shaken up by it. What a senseless act by a troubled young man.
