Well it's about time...

Everyone else has been doing it, so why not me. Long, long ago, I learned that often crazier things happen to me than to other people. Maybe this will help me remember them. Even better, I'll finally have a forum to rant, keeping me from screaming on street corners for a few more days.

Copenhagen

It's been a long time since I posted. That isn't to say that nothing's happened. It's just to say that I fell out of the habit of posting. Of course, now that I am sitting in the lobby of a hotel in Denmark, I've little to do besides `blog.

Things have been for the most part good. My mini-job hunt was 100% unsuccessful, with no real nibbles. Good times! I'm dreading the prospect of applying this year, so I am becoming more and more anxious about it. Of course, Mom, God give her strength, has her own suggestions for what I should do and try. We'll just have to see how it all plays out.

I'm in Copenhagen for the birthday conference for Haynes Miller. The first week is a workshop in Denmark on random stuff, and the second week, which starts tomorrow bright and early, is in Bonn. I'd never been to Denmark (and apparently I wasn't missing much), and I've also never been to Bonn. It should be fun, but I'm very much looking forward to being back in Boston. That would be amazing!

Tim will be attending Law School this fall at Northeastern in Boston. Yay! It's a lot closer than Palo Alto, and since he'll be on an academic schedule, I imagine that I'll see more of him. This is a big plus. He's managed to procure this sweet house from a senior partner at his firm to live in for the year. I'll finally see it for real when he kindly collects me from the airport.

Many more stores, but I'm completely exhausted now. I'll try to post more soon!
